Al Buruj



85) سورة البروج

وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ (١)وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ (٢)وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ (٣)قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الأخْدُودِ (٤)
النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ (٥)إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ (٦)
وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ (٧)وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ (٨)
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ (٩)
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ (١٠)
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأنْهَارُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ (١١)
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ (١٢)إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ (١٣)وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ (١٤)ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ (١٥)
فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ (١٦)هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ (١٧)فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ (١٨)بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ (١٩)
وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ (٢٠)بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ (٢١)فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ (٢٢)

1. by the heaven, holding the big stars.
2. and by the promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection);
3. and by the witnessing Day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed Day [i.e. the Day of 'Arafât (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hîjjah];
4. cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the boy and the King).
5. Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel,
6. when they sat by it (Fire),
7. and they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them).
8. they had nothing against them, except that they believed In Allâh, the All-Mighty, Worthy of All Praise!
9. Who, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! and Allâh is witness over everything.
10. Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and Then do not turn In repentance, (to Allâh), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.
11. Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). that is the great success.
12. Verily, (O Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam)) the Grip (punishment) of Your Lord is severe.
13. Verily, He it is who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment In the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and Then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection).
14. and He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islâmic Monotheism),
15. Owner of the Throne, the Glorious
16. He does what He intends (or wills).
17. has the story reached You of the hosts,
18. of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamûd?
19. Nay! the disbelievers (persisted) In denying (Prophet Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) and his message of Islâmic Monotheism).
20. and Allâh encompasses them from behind! (i.e. All their deeds are within his knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds).
21. Nay! This is a Glorious Qur'ân,
22. (Inscribed) In Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz (the preserved Tablet)!

At Thoriq


86 سورة الطارق

وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ (١)وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ (٢)النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ (٣)إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ (٤)
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الإنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ (٥)خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ (٦)يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ (٧)
إِنَّهُ عَلَى رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ (٨)يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ (٩)فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلا نَاصِرٍ (١٠)
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ (١١)وَالأرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ (١٢)إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ (١٣)
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ (١٤)إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا (١٥)وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا (١٦)فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا (١٧)

1. by the heaven, and At-Târiq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star);
2. and what will make You to know what At-Târiq (night-comer) is?
3. (it is) the star of piercing brightness;
4. there is no human being but has a protector over Him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.)
5. so let man see from what He is created!
6. He is created from a water gushing forth
7. Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs,
8. Verily, (Allâh) is Able to bring Him back (to life)!
9. the Day when All the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth).
10. Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper.
11. by the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.
12. and the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants),
13. Verily! This (the Qur'ân) is the word that separates (the Truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).
14. and it is not a thing for amusement.
15. Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against You O Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam)).
16. and I (too) am planning a plan.
17. so give a respite to the disbelievers. deal You gently with them for a while.

Al A'laa



87 سورة الأعلى

سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأعْلَى (١)الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى (٢)وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَى (٣)وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَى (٤)
فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَى (٥)سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلا تَنْسَى (٦)إِلا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى (٧)
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَى (٨)فَذَكِّرْ إِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى (٩)سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَى (١٠)وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الأشْقَى (١١)
الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَى (١٢)ثُمَّ لا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلا يَحْيَا (١٣)قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّى (١٤)
وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى (١٥)بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا (١٦)وَالآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى (١٧)
إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الأولَى (١٨)صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى (١٩)
1. glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High,
2. who has created (everything), and Then proportioned it;
3. and who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); Then guided (i.e. showed mankind the Right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture);
4. and who brings out the pasturage,
5. and Then makes it dark stubble.
6. we shall make You to recite (the Qur'ân), so You (O Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam)) shall not forget (it),
7. except what Allâh, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.
8. and we shall make easy for You (O Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam)) the easy Way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds).
9. Therefore remind (men) In case the Reminder profits (them).
10. the Reminder will be received by Him who fears (Allâh),
11. but it will be avoided by the wretched,
12. who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning,
13. wherein He will neither die (to be In rest) nor live (a good living).
14. indeed Whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islâmic Monotheism) shall achieve success,
15. and remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allâh), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawâfil additional prayers).
16. Nay, You prefer the life of This world;
17. although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.
18. Verily! This is In the former Scriptures,
19. the Scriptures of Ibrâhim (Abraham) and Mûsa (Moses).

Al Ghosyiah


88) سورة الغاشية

هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ (١)وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ (٢)عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ (٣)تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً (٤)
تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ (٥)لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلا مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ (٦)لا يُسْمِنُ وَلا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ (٧)
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌ (٨)لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ (٩)فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ (١٠)
لا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لاغِيَةً (١١)فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ (١٢)فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ (١٣)
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ (١٤)وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ (١٥)وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ (١٦)
أَفَلا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الإبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ (١٧)وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ (١٨)
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ (١٩)وَإِلَى الأرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ (٢٠)فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ (٢١)
لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُصَيْطِرٍ (٢٢)إِلا مَنْ تَوَلَّى وَكَفَرَ (٢٣)فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الأكْبَرَ (٢٤)
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ (٢٥)ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ (٢٦)
1. has there come to You the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection);
2. some faces, that day, will be humiliated (in the Hell-fire, i.e. the faces of All disbelievers, Jews and Christians, etc.).
3. Labouring (hard In the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allâh), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace).
4. they will enter In the hot blazing Fire,
5. they will be given to drink from a boiling spring,
6. no food will there be for them but a poisonous thorny plant,
7. which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger.
8. (other) faces, that day, will be joyful,
9. glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did In This world, along with the true faith of Islâmic Monotheism).
10. In a lofty Paradise.
11. where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood,
12. therein will be a running spring,
13. therein will be thrones raised High,
14. and cups set at hand.
15. and cushions set In rows,
16. and rich carpets (all) spread out.
17. do they not look at the camels, How they are created?
18. and at the heaven, How it is raised?
19. and at the mountains, How they are rooted and fixed firm?
20. and at the earth, How it is spread out?
21. so remind them (O Muhammad (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam)), You are Only a one who reminds.
22. You are not a dictator over them.
23. save the one who turns away and disbelieves
24. Then Allâh will Punish Him with the greatest punishment.
25. Verily, to us will be their return;
26. Then Verily, for us will be their reckoning.
